At the recent CLAAS UK & Ireland Annual Dealer Principals meeting, two main CLAAS Tractor Dealer Excellence 2016 awards went to CLAAS dealers in the Republic of Ireland.
The strength of the new tractor market in Ireland is reflected in recent figures from the FTMTA, which show that between January and July this year, sales of new tractors are up 5% at 1335 units compared to the same period in 2015.
New product development throughout the CLAAS range, but especially in the important 100-150hp range with the introduction of the new ATOS and ARION 400 range, has proved particularly popular with buyers in Ireland. Allied to this is the high level of service and support that CLAAS dealers are able to offer, supported by the CLAAS team at Saxham in the UK.
The CLAAS Tractor Sales Growth Award recognises the dealer who achieved the highest growth in CLAAS Tractor sales in the UK and Ireland.
This was won by Leinster Farm Machines Ltd, who is based at Duleek, Co Meath and recently opened a second branch at Granard, Co Longford, who recorded a massive 209% increase in retail tractor sales. The award was presented to Sales Director Philip O’Hara by Gilles Mayer, Sales & Marketing Director of CLAAS Tractor SAS.
The CLAAS Tractor Sales Performance Award recognises the dealership that achieved the highest number of CLAAS Tractor sales per branch in 12 months in the UK and Ireland.
