This year’s series of conferences organised by the Soil & Water Management Centre is entitled “Farming in Extremes”
Tim Chamen, one of the organisers reports: “Our plans for the conference have been progressing well and it will be held on Wednesday 2nd December. This will either be at Harper Adams University or delivered electronically, depending on the circumstances.
We have also been planning an update of our website and a significant increase in the material we will be sending out. However, to do this more speedily and in an efficient manner, we need an injection of funds.
To help support the Centre the subscription is still just £30 plus VAT and this will give you a discounted rate for all conferences, access to member’s pages on the Soil & Water website, regular news feeds and one story of soil and water relevance each month.
Membership also gives you access to a summary of the proceedings and presentations from the last 3 years of conferences.
“Increasing our membership should also provide us with sustainable funding for the future through sponsorship, which is easier to secure if we can demonstrate a significant “following”, said Tim.
“We do hope you will give this your consideration and help us build on the foundations that we have created over the past 10 years. You will find our membership joining page at:
