George Moate will have a working demonstration of their Tillerstar running opposite their stand on both days of Cereals.
The Tillerstar is a one-pass machine that tills, de-stones, de-clods and makes a bed for the planter to follow. George Moate claim it offers those farming potatoes, carrots, onions, daffodils, swedes, beetroot, parsnips, leeks, lettuce, etc ,savings of up to £300 per hectare in time, fuel and labour.
It is suitable for most soil types and is currently used successfully and profitably by potato farmers as diverse as those growing Jersey Royals, Cornish earlies, seed potatoes, main crop and late crop, etc. It is also used by customers in the turf industry for football pitches and golf courses.
One of their existing customers, who has just traded-in and purchased his third Tillerstar from them, will be on their stand to talk to anyone who would like to find out more about the machine and its technology.
