HORSCH UK has announced that it is partnering with new dealers to offer its entire range of cultivators, drills and sprayers. Kelso & Lothian Harvesters will offer the products through its depot in Kelso, Scotland while HORSCH customers in Derbyshire can now visit Alkmonton Tractors.

“We are continuously developing and supporting our dealer network to ensure our customers get the high level of expertise, service and support they expect from HORSCH. We’re delighted to be working with Alkmonton Tractors and Kelso & Lothian Harvesters to deliver our latest products, such as the Pronto NT drill and Terrano GX, backed up by great support,” said Stephen Burcham, HORSCH UK general manager.Kelso & Lothian Harvesters, a Scot JCB Group Company, works with a number of premium agricultural brands, such as JCB, to provide a wide range of machinery to customers throughout the Scottish Borders, Lothians and North Northumberland.

“HORSCH is known for its high quality, well-manufactured products and is therefore an ideal product range for us; we only sell quality kit,” says Craig Robertson, general manager at Kelso & Lothian Harvesters. “The Pronto and Sprinter drills are great products and will be popular among our customers. Sprayers are a new market for us, but I can see strong demand across the range and there’s a large market for self-propelled sprayers in this area. HORSCH has a great range of products and we’re delighted to be working with them.” Kelso & Lothian Harvesters has taken on a further two service engineers to support their growing business.

Based at Alkmonton near Ashbourne, Alkmonton Tractors is an independent Claas main dealer with a strong reputation throughout Derbyshire founded on its service and ability to repair and supply parts for a wide variety of machinery. It has recently invested in the development of a new workshop and shop and has taken on new staff to support its business growth.

“The HORSCH range is a natural extension to our existing brands and has well-regarded products our customers want,” explains managing director, John Ayre. “As a growing family-run business, we know that service is king. We’ve just taken on a new salesman, who is a professional sprayer operator and tractor driver, and a new office manager to continue provide the very best support to our customers.”
