Taking a closer look into biologicals and alternatives to bio-agrichemicals for cereals.
Are you concerned about the potential withdrawal of certain pesticides? The Farmer-Scientist Network has secured grant funding to conduct trials and find a solution.
The trials will assess biopesticides compared to conventional chemistry by applying them to arable crops from seed treatment to harvest.
Trials are taking place at three arable farms in the North East and Yorkshire, with the aim to understand how these new technologies can affect yield and quality.
Come along and see the trials underway – the event is FREE to attend, including lunch. It takes place at Cockle Park Farm, Morpeth, Northumberland NE61 3EA.
