Following on from a successful show last year, Valtra UK & Ireland is pleased to announce that they will be attending LAMMA 2020 from the 7th – 8th January at the NEC, Birmingham,

Visitors to LAMMA 2020 will have the chance to view the complete range of easy-to-use Valtra tractors and cutting edge digital solutions on stand 9.210 in hall 9. On display will be an A114 HiTech4, N154 Active both with loader, S394 and T194 Versu, featuring Valtra Unlimited customisation options. Also at the show will be a special T234 Direct also with Unlimited Studio options including black rims, black wheel weights, full LED light package and dark interior, finished with a unique colour wrap.

Valtra will be using the show to launch a completely new addition to their current tractor series, which will go on sale in the UK in early 2020. The F Series, a new vineyard and orchard tractor, comprises of four models ranging in output from 75 to 105 horsepower. The models range from 1.3 to 1.5 metres wide with standard equipment such as heated and air-conditioned cab.

The F Series comes with a 24-speed transmission that is available with either a mechanical or hydraulic forward-reverse shuttle and Powershift. The versatile hydraulics produce 68 or almost 100 l/min of output depending on the model. The PTO has two speed settings, 540+540E or 540+1000, as well as a ground-speed PTO option. The four-cylinder 3.4-LITRE common rail engine complies with Stage III B emissions regulations for narrow tractors. The F Series will be available from UK Valtra dealers in early 2020.

Also on display will be the new design for Valtra’s heads up display (HUD) SmartGlass. Positioned in the centre of the tractor’s front windscreen, Valtra SmartGlass is based on transparent display technology, laminated between two glass surfaces. This makes the solution very robust and suitable for the demanding operating conditions of agricultural machinery.

SmartGlass allows the operator to see vital information about the tractor without needing to look away from the work at hand. With a strong focus on front loader work, SmartGlass can display various information from the factory-fitted Valtra loader such as tipping angle or load weight; or basic tractor information such as gear, engine rpm or driving speed. The operator is able to choose what is visible on the heads up display via the SmartTouch 9” touchscreen terminal. Valtra SmartGlass is available as an option via the Unlimited studio with serial production planned for late 2020.

Valtra has taken a step beyond precision farming and is now aiming at Smart Farming. Valtra is leading the way in Smart Farming with a suite of technologies that work seamlessly together – Valtra Guide, ISOBUS, Section Control and TaskDoc® – all of which are operated from their unique SmartTouch armrest. These technologies have been designed to make your life easier and are available in the N, T & S Series tractors.

Valtra Guide is just one of the smart farming solutions Valtra UK & Ireland will be bringing to the show. The Valtra Guide automated steering system was fully updated in early autumn. Whereas previously the operator had to switch between map screens and settings, now the settings appear in the map screen. The settings can be displayed using the icons on the sides of the screen or by tapping the screen once. This makes it possible to change or check all settings without having to exit the map screen. Selecting fields and creating waylines has also been made simpler. Waylines, obstructions and entries are retained in the memory for future tasks.

Visitors to the show will also be able to try Valtra Connect telemetry.  Valtra Connect allows you to manage your tractor fleet, letting you follow how productive machines are, which work has been completed, and what still needs to be done. It gives you the information you need to ensure optimum utilisation rates, reduce operating costs and improve uptime, as well as being able to link to your Service dealer to enable scheduling of routine maintenance and pro-active fault finding and diagnostics.
