Brock Parts displayed a variety of tillage solutions at LAMMA. New was a Brock sub V450 4.5m 7 leg trailed subsoiler, having first been unveiled to massive acclaim Brock’s open day in November last year. Available in working widths from 4.5m to 8m, it folds horizontally to a narrow transport width with minimum effort.
The design allows this subsoiler to operate with or without a packer, of which there are many options including the Brock soil packer.
Featured at LAMMA was a 4.5m 7 leg version with a 700mm DD ring packer.
Also on show was the Bourgault Versatile Opener System (VOS) for direct drilling and minimum tillage applications.
Imported from Canada and sold by Brock Parts these openers are available in single or double shoot with or without fertiliser, for a complete retrofit solution, for min-til, no-till or conventional cultivation.
All of the replacable tips are made in North America which Brock claim gives it a superior wear resistance in all soil types. The company says you can save the expense of a new seed drill by retrofitting this opener, which is capable of high application rates and liquid or granular fertiliser application.
Also exhibited was the Farmet Kompaktomat, a seedbed preparation cultivator that Brock began importing from Czechoslovakia last spring.
On show was a 6m trailed version of the popular Kompaktomat K1250 Max, a 12.5m wide seedbed preparation machine.
Available in working widths of 3m to 15.7m, the trailed version was equipped with the heavy duty A-share tine module, front ring roller and rear double crumblers.
