Modernized engines and adjusted design are some of the new features of the PROXIMA three model range which have a power span from 80 to 120 HP.
The new PROXIMA CL has the power from 80 to 100 HP and basic mechanic PowerShuttle transmission with 12+12 gears. The offer also includes a version with reduced speed transmission 20+4 or basic transmission 10+2. PROXIMA GP offers power from 80–110 HP and mechanical PowerShuttle transmission with two-stage PowerShift.. The PROXIMA HS has power from 80 to 120 HP.
The most significant changes have been made to the engines which comply with STAGE IV emission standards.
PROXIMAS marked 80 have engines with STAGE IIIB. Compliance with STAGE IV emission standards is achieved through the same system as the FORTERRA range, a combination of DOC (Diesel Oxidation Catalyst), active DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) and SCR system (Selective Catalytic Reduction). Zetor say the engines are simple in design and without unnecessary electronics.
“In the area of development, we put a great emphasis to offer to our customers as effective solution as possible. This helps them to save their time and money. According to the results of independent testing, this kind of engine offers fuel savings reaching up to 15–20 %” says Robert Todt, Sales and Marketing Director.
The torque reserve in new PROXIMA tractors adds up to 43 %, the volume of urea tank 28 litres and the CL and GP fuel tanks is 150 litres – PROXIMA HS offers 180 litres.
The cabin is spacious and the operator has a new dashboard with the lamp layout adjusted to optimize the illuminated area for night working. The tractors are equipped with larger rear mirrors, which allows the operator to have a better all-round view.
Production of the PROXIMA range will begin late 2016 early 2017 but customers can start ordering now through all authorized Zetor dealers. The company expect the first tractors to be delivered to customers early 2017.
